10 Ways to Love Yourself

1. Practice self-compassion: Be kind to yourself, especially when you're going through challenges. It's okay, it's an opportunity to get a new rhythm better than ever before. Everyone goes through setbacks, it's a part of being human.
2. Set yourself some boundaries love: Respect yourself (note to self), your needs and prioritize self-care by establishing healthy boundaries in relationships and commitments. It's ok to change your mind. Whoever said you can't?!
3. Talk kindly to yourself. Your cells are eavesdropping on you: Replace self-criticism with self-encouragement and affirmations. Talking to yourself is actually healthy.
4. Celebrate achievements: Acknowledge your accomplishments, no matter how big or small. It's so easy to bypass the small accomplishments, but they are as meaningful if not more.
5. Focus on your passions: Invest time in activities that bring you joy and fulfill you. What are you passionate about?
6. Prioritize self-care: Carve out time for relaxation, hobbies, and activities that recharge your energy so you are living and giving from overflow.
7. Forgive yourself: Let go of past mistakes and embrace the opportunity for growth and improvement. As my brother once told me, don't pass on the opportunity of a crisis.
8. Surround yourself with positivity: Spend time with supportive and uplifting people who appreciate you for who you are, listen and make you feel seen. It's how we heal and process hardships.
9. Embrace your uniqueness: Celebrate your individuality and recognize that you are worthy of love. If someone doesn't accept who you are, question it.
10. Be patient with yourself: Remember that self-love is an ongoing journey, and it’s okay to have ups and downs along the way.
Love is who you are. Every challenge and seeming obstacles are detours back to the love you are.
